Note in year 2005—This dynamic web pages are using PHP and mySQL database. Thousands of product items and component pictures are stored in mySQL database. The web hosting provided by Smallbusiness yahoo which supports PHP and mySQL, and with build-in phpMyAdmin to administrate and manage data.
In this KNS website, the most powerful tool is the search tool. The search tool could filter out any keywords in the database data.
Note in year 2006—Since there are many open source tools written in PHP, I choose one of the famous CMS (content management system) Mambo v.4.6.1. to re-build the index page. The images below are the "before" and "after" screen shot as comparison. Only to re-build the front-end look and links. In this case, there are two different databases, one is the previous-build product item's database, another one is created for Mambo CMS to store content details.

Editing Template to different color theme
There is a way to change major color theme to bring different feeling and look about the website. This is an example of three static web pages using the same html codings. The black one is the original template, then changed it to blue and yellow. The 3D look used several layers of background colors adjusted the gradient, to give depth to the content away from the background...

Case Scenario: Purchase Dept. asked if we can generate reports from the database MS-SQL server, based on Vendors' PO items, PO status (sorted by date) and list the PO status based on item category.
The answer is YES! All the data are stored in Microsoft's SQL server 2000 through Microsoft Great Plains software.
These reports are simple, use various query functions, no input necessary.
